I have entered in to an exciting new venture with a very good friend of mine to have my artwork displayed on the walls of his new restaurant, "Pekish" @ 1 Mason St, Newport, at Seagulls Hotel.

There are a number of works hanging on the walls and around the bar area and I'll be rotating new works through regularly.

If you'd like some fine food followed by some fine art, please drop in and say g'day to Dave (formerly from ET'S Hotel in Prahran) who will definitely look after you.

My latest exhibition has just finished at the Brunswick Street Gallery, Brunswick.  It was held between 18th June - 1st July 2010. 

Together, with three other fellow artists, "the essence of 4sight" exhibition was created and exhibited. 

Opening night was a huge success and those that attended experienced many different photographic styles from each artist but very complimentary of each other.

Together we had around 50 pieces of art on display.

We are currently working on our next exhibition.  Details will be announced very soon.

 I have been featured in the Australian Photographic Society's Online Newsletter fir the Contemporary Division of which I am a member.

MAGAZINE FEATURE.

Four of my "China series" images have been featured in the Australian Photographic Society's suppliment magazine, Image!  It was a great thrill to be asked to contribute works for the Contemporay Gallery of which I am a member.

The images featured are:

NEW EXHIBITION  

My image "taxi" was part of an Australian Photographic Society competition in the 2008 Australian Digital Photography Awards.  It was shown under the creative / altered image section.

The exhibition was held at the Burns Club in Canberra on the 15th August 2008.

And in Melbourne at the Rialto Tower, my image "glass temple" was on display with other works from the redbubble community.

NEW EXHIBITION:

My image "glass temple" was voted number one in a recent redbubble competition with it being exhibited at the Bruswick St Gallery as the prize.  The exhibition runs from July 4 - 17, 2008.  Opening night, Friday 4th July.  Hope to see you there!

NEW EXHIBITION 

I have been invited to exhibit my image "one" at the Brunswick St Gallery between May 23rd and June 5th, 2008.

This is part of an initiative and partnership with Brunswick Street Gallery and the RedBubble Melbourne Group.  It was chosen as one of only 10 to be exhibited from the group.

The following criteria was used by the judges to select the winners:

- The needs of the venue
- Originality of concept or technique, and ‘wow’ factor
- Level of technical skill
- Perceived likeliness of selling in a gallery or commercial environment
- Cohesiveness of theme

Opening night is Friday May 26th at 6pm.  Please come along and see some great work from the Melbourne Group at redbubble.
