I've been busy lately producing a limited number of original images which I am now offering for sale. They come custom framed, matted, numbered and signed and printed on quality Hahnemühle, Baryta Fine Art Paper. This paper sets the benchmark for high colour depth, large colour gamut and image definition. This paper gives the"wow" factor particularly to black and white prints with an extremely high dmax and the finest grey tones.
These images are offered in a limited edition run, between 20 and 40 prints only, and come with a certificate of authenticity.
If you're in Melbourne and you wish to view these framed prints, please email me at amancuso@galleriamancuso.com to arrange an appointment.
You can view these limited edition prints here.

These are some of my latest images. Please contact me if you wish to purchase one of these or simply follow the prompts from within the galleries for any other image.

"the invasion" is a group of trees I found captivating at Shoreham Beach on the Mornington Peninsula. They are quite mysterious and seem totally out of place along side the beach.

"the awakening" is a budding agapanthus plant. I added a second layer for texture and effect.

"timeless teardrops" is of a hibiscus flower after a rain shower. I changed the colour by adding multi layers working in photoshop until I was happy with the result.

A couple of redbubble challenge wins to start the new year off on the right note. My image "the summit" won the "simple by design" challenge, "outdoors"
Also voted to a win was "the shallows of heaven" which won the "mornington peninsula and port phillip bay" challenge, "sunset...sunrise, beach scene"
I hope it's the start of more exciting things to come.

"a word from above" has won the "best skyscape image 2009" in a "redbubble" online photo and art community photo challenge. It was voted for by members of the "skyscapes" group and was amongst some superb entries.
I remember when I first saw it out the window, I did a double take as I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Usually in these situations, by the time it takes to get your camera and put the right lens on it's gone, but this just kept hanging around, begging to be taken.
This is the over all view of what I was seeing.

Hi all, just a little bit of self promotion along with some bragging rights today. I have been featured in the Australian Photographic Society's Online November Newsletter, which goes out to all members of the Australian Photographic Society's Contemporary Division. What a huge thrill it was to have been asked and to contribute. This is the second time I have been featured in an APS article, the first was when asked to contribute to the APS suppliment magazine, Image, some of my recent images of my trip to Beijing.
The images that were included can be seen here.
Here's the article, including pictures and a bit about how I got into photography, plus a pretty bad photo of me. The full newsletter can be read by clicking the link below.
Australian Photographic Society Contemporary Division Feature.
Plus a larger, easier to read version can be viewed here.

Hope you enjoy!
